[Elgar Route Wayfinding System ]

A set of creative design concepts produced for Malvern Hills District Council's revised visual system to support The Elgar Route based around Worcestershire/Herefordshire. Research was undertaken into other existing worldwide wayfinding systems, and also the history of The Elgar Route to produce these design outputs. The amount of text within the existing leaflet was reduced, and information was instead interpreted using photos, illustrations, infographics, and icons. The nature-inspired colours, shapes, imagery, and overall bold, modern visual style of the leaflet is also applied across the wayfinding sign and information board, to create consistency throughout the system design.
