A short series of photographs, capturing ‘The Decisive Moment’ of animals looking directly at the camera, and therefore highlight their personalities/characteristics. These photographs portray the importance of animals by making the individual animals the focal point, which therefore aim to incite a positive response amongst viewers. The close-up perspective and sharp-focused, detailed style of the photos accentuate the beauty of the animals. A black and white high contrast effect was also applied to evoke a sense of timelessness and unity; as well as making the photographs more dramatic and compelling.
