LEVI'S ENGINEERED JEANS MICROSITE
Microsite design for the client ‘Levi Strauss & Co.’. The aim of this project was to create a site that promotes the mock relaunch of ‘Levi’s Engineered Jeans’ (LEJ), also known as ‘Twisted Jeans’, which would appeal to young adults (aged between 18-25 years old) today. The jeans were originally launched in 1999, and were well-known for having a twisted seam.
Abstract, geometric shapes are used throughout the design outcomes of this project, which represents the ‘twisted’ style of the jeans. The blueprint graph paper textured background relates to blue denim and also the engineered aspect of the jeans. Images are displayed within Polaroid style frames, which evoke the retro feature of the jeans.
